Case Study

Atlas

Created for Thinkful's UX Design Program.

The Problem

My (fictitious) client was looking to build a cloud storage platform. They wanted to determine a target audience, develop a vision for the design, and create a brand identity. They are hopeful the platform could compete with the main storage giants, like Google and Dropbox.

The Solution

Atlas aims to improve productivity by allowing a user to seamlessly move between profiles and incorporating features that appeal to a global audience. It allows one to collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mentors. It serves as a hub to create and store content and collaborate.

My Contributions

• Competitive Analysis
• User Personas
• User Stories
• User Flows
• Low-Fidelity Wireframes
• High-Fidelity Mock-Ups
• Prototype
• Brand Identity
• Style Guide

The Results

I believe I was able to deliver a design that satisfied both stakeholder and user concerns and desires. To continue supporting the client, I would develop a cohesive design system to enable the in-house designer to make adjustments across any platform.
