Sadhana
Designing a supportive, intentional digital experience to help women with challenging conditions build sustainable practices
The Problem
Many wellness and mindfulness tools overwhelm users with too many features, rigid streak goals, or unclear expectations, making it difficult to build a steady, sustainable practice.
With Sadhana, the goal was to design a digital experience that felt approachable and supportive, giving users enough structure to guide their practice without creating pressure or cognitive overload.

Completed during a 2 week sprint.
My Approach
I began by understanding what motivates people to start and continue daily wellness routines, and where they most often get stuck. From there I:
- Conducted user research to understand motivations, barriers, and emotional expectations around daily practice
- Identified friction points related to onboarding, commitment, and long-term engagement
- Synthesized insights to inform information hierarchy, content pacing, and interaction patterns
- Collaborated with stakeholders to align product goals with a values-driven, user-centered experience
The Solution
I designed a simplified, supportive experience focused on clarity, pacing, and user choice.
Design decisions emphasized plain language, reduced visual noise, and flexible flows that allowed users to engage without rigid requirements.
The experience was designed to support confidence and continuity rather than performance or completion.
Impact & Outcomes
- Improved clarity around how to start and sustain a mindfulness practice
- Reduced friction for new and returning users through clearer structure and guidance
- Reinforced trust by aligning product behavior with user expectations
- Established a foundation for ongoing iteration around engagement and personalization
The Results
